Please join us for a triple bill benefit concert for North Country Life Flight Friday, May 11, 7:00 pm at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts. The concert features great music by Sven Curth, Heidi Little and Big Slyde. Our good friends at WSLP-FM/93.3, sponsor of the concert, will host a 5th anniversary birthday bash as part of the festivities.
Tickets are $10 and concert proceeds will benefit the region’s air medical rescue team, North Country Life Flight, an organization that has been helping to save lives for more than two decades.
The evening’s music will be some of the finest with singer, guitarist and songwriter Sven Curth delivering a great solo performance. You can expect a fabulous mix of music influenced by vintage blues, outlaw country and popular music. Canadian born, now Adirondack resident, Heidi Little, is a professional songwriter, singer/performer. Heidi’s music transcends all genres to inspire and unite a worldwide fan base. Big Slyde, an Adirondack based acoustic band, will deliver an eclectic mix featuring virtuoso performances on banjo, dobro, cello, guitar and bouzouki and vocals.
Concert guests will also enjoy complimentary refreshments from the High Peak Resort’s Dancing Bear Restaurant and cakeplacid. There will also be a silent auction of fabulous items donated by area businesses from throughout the region. Concert and auction proceeds will benefit North Country Life Flight.
